Vermont Cardiac Network, who we are
The Vermont Cardiac Network (VCN) is an independent group of physicians and nurses who meet three times per year in conference venue, to obtain continuing education, disseminate knowledge, and exchange information and ideas about cardiac care.VCN grew out of a task force assembled in 1981 by the Vermont Health Policy Corporation and the Vermont Department of Health to study cardiac care in the state. Celebrating 34 years of service, the Vermont Cardiac Network was incorporated into a 501(c)(3) organization in 1984. Its mission is to assure the cardiac health status of Vermonters and other nearby residents. The organization is grateful for the annual support from the University of Vermont Medical Center Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
